Boar Glass was founded in 1996 by artist Bengt Hokanson and Trefny Dix. The studio has presently evolved to be a more complete glass facility producing both functional and sculptural blown and cast glass. The artists, influenced by classic Italian glass blowing techniques, Japanese block prints and urban graffiti, use the saturated luminescent colors of glass to accentuate organic forms.
