Dahl Glass shows the artist’s preference for using clear glass and emphasizing the richness of texture rather than depending on slickness or color. Duane Dahl’s introduction to kiln formed glass fifteen years ago proved to be the key to integrating the influences of nature and eastern aesthetic. Clear glass is combined with natural river rock to evoke a feeling of water flowing over stone. The stones are hand picked from the banks of the Rio Grande near Santa Fe. Each piece is totally unique and is signed by the artist.
