Jamie Johnson is a collage and mixed media artist. Before becoming an artist she studied marketing at Northwestern Michigan College. Her home and studio are located in Kirkland, Washington.

“My process is an intuitive layering of paint, ephemera, and fiber in a theme of community, home and nature.  I have a passion for kitsch including odd beads, micro machine cars, plastic people, doll heads, and an obsession for copper nails.” Johnson also designs jewelry, lamps, artist books, and shrines.
